Honey Glazed
Pork Chops
These Honey Glazed Pork Chops are an easy to prepare dish topped with a glaze to add a touch of "class". We like to use one of our pepper infused honeys for this dish... either the Chili Pepper Infused Honey or the Habanero Infused Honey for that extra layer of flavor.
Ingredients
2 Bone-in Pork Chops (I prefer thick cut, about 1" thick)
2Tbsp Olive Oil or Lard
3 Tbsp Chili Pepper Infused Honey or Habanero Infused Honey
2 Tbsp Water
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
Kosher Salt
Ground Pepper
Instructions
Combine Glaze Ingredients: Combine honey, water and apple cider vinegar in a mixing bowl and stir until thoroughly combined.

Season Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry using a paper towel. Season liberally with kosher salt and ground pepper.

Divide into Individual Servings: Place the olive oil or lard in a cast iron skillet and warm over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops to the skillet. Sear both sides until an internal temperature of 135ºF is reached. Remove pork chops to a plate or cutting board.

Prepare Glaze: Reduce the heat on the skillet to medium-low. Pour the glaze mixture into the pan. Stir constantly until the mixture begins to thicken and reaches the desired consistancy.

Combine Pork Chops and Glaze: Place the pork chops in the skillet along with any juices. Spoon the glaze over the pork chops.

Enjoy: Place the pork chops on serving plates along with your favorites sides.
